Cambridge Ahead is delighted to welcome Emma Pritchard as its new Policy and Research Officer. Emma has just returned to the UK from a career break to travel, before which she worked in policy and public affairs in the health and innovative life sciences sector, most recently as a Consultant at MAP Patient Access and in the Public Affairs team at Roche Pharma UK. Prior to this, Emma worked on higher education policy at the University of Hertfordshire and transport in Cambridge at Camcycle.
Emma’s research and analytical skills, her personal experience of innovative sectors in Cambridge, and her passion for the region as a long-term resident will be a huge asset to Cambridge Ahead’s policy and research work at an important time for the long-term future of the region.
Emma said “I’m so excited to be joining the brilliant team at Cambridge Ahead to work with our members, policymakers and our community on important and interlinked policy areas to shape the future of the Cambridge city region at this very critical time. My role will support the delivery of our wide-ranging programme of public policy research on areas like transport, housing and skills to help inform an inclusive and sustainable future for the region. Having lived in Cambridgeshire for most of my life, I am so looking forward to working with the team to make a positive impact in the local area and on the local community.”
