Winter Heated Overblankets Project

Through our Cambridge Ahead ESG Network several of our members supported a pilot project in 2022 which provided nearly 900 heated blankets to older people most in need over the winter months, improving their health and wellbeing and helping to keep bills down.
More than 1 in 10 households in Cambridge experience fuel poverty. Through our Cambridge Ahead ESG Network several of our members supported a pilot project in 2022 which provided nearly 900 heated blankets to older people most in need over the winter months, improving their health and wellbeing and helping to keep bills down.
We’re lucky to have members like Allia who organised this pilot with Cambridge Housing Society, Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire Local Assistance Scheme.
