IoTUK hack and pitch – prizes and support for growing businesses – 17-18th Sept

This hack and pitch event will set SMEs and start-ups four challenges in the arenas of transport, smart cities and health, with the over-arching theme of harnessing IoT to aid in producing solutions to the challenges.

We’re looking for startup and SME teams who would love to use their Internet of Things technology, their knowledge and their experience to create solutions to pressing real-world challenges.

CambridgeSpace sister company Cambridge Hack have been appointed by Digital Catapult to run IoT UK Challenger for the South of England. This hack and pitch event will set SMEs and start-ups four challenges in the arenas of transport, smart cities and health, with the over-arching theme of harnessing IoT to aid in producing solutions to the challenges.

Teams will take part:

  • to hone their ideas and skills
  • for the visibility and exposure they can achieve for their companies
  • to apply their knowledge and products for larger clients or on a larger scale than might otherwise have been the case.

There will be subject matter experts on hand to learn from, along with a panel of distinguished judges, who will be nominating winners for the prizes on offer!

This is a FREE EVENT and lunch and refreshments will be provided on both days.

Location: Bradfield Centre on Cambridge Science park
Times & Dates: The event starts at lunchtime on Monday 17th September and concludes at 4pm on Tuesday 18th September.
