Annual Business Weekly Awards 2017 – 22nd March
The Annual Business Weekly Awards 2017 are a celebration of the work of businesses from across the whole of the East of England.
Companies in every conceivable business sector are invited to enter the competition. Businesses are judged on the quality of their products and services, the strength of their management and growth strategies and their potential. Judges do no just go on the bottom line, which is much too narrow a guide to future success.
There are nine awards on offer:
- Business of the Year (chosen from the 8 categories below)
- Cambridge Graduate Business of the Year
- Cambridge Judge Business School Woman Entrepreneur of the Year
- Disruptive Technology
- Engineering Excellence
- International Trade Champion
- Life Science Innovation
- Startup of the year
- The Kate Gross Award for Social Enterprise
The Business of the Year will join a Hall of Fame that includes Abcam, ARM, Autonomy, AVEVA, British Sugar, CSR, Domino, Horizon Discovery, Perkins Engines, Pi Group, Ryanair, TTP and Virata.
The all-star presentation dinner will be held at Queens’ College Cambridge on Wednesday 22nd March 2017. This year, the awards are sponsored by Mills & Reeve, Barclays, PwC, TTP Group, University of Cambridge Judge Business School, St John’s Innovation Centre and Bailey Fisher Executive Search. You can still submit entries.
